Shae's Story

Shae's Story

Shae was in one of the "worst positions" she had ever found herself in. She felt overwhelmed, like she was desperately trying to keep everything afloat, and the weight of her struggles was pressing down on her each day.

Then Ashley (her case manager) stepped in and mentioned “There’s this external source called Mobilise that could help you.”

Shae was accepted into Mobilise's program and felt an immediate sense of relief, like a "massive weight had been lifted off her shoulders". It was a turning point for her.

Having access to Mobilise and knowing that she had the right tools and support in place made all the difference. It wasn’t just about easing the stress it was about empowering her to start fixing her problems. Shae recalls thinking, “I want to use this opportunity as a big tool in my life.”

Her goal now is to enter the youth work world, to help others who might find themselves in similar tough spots. Shae truly believes that, with the support she received through Mobilise, she can make a difference...both in her own life and in the lives of others.

Her story can be encapsulated in the video below:
