Nothing beats a morning jog with good people and strong purpose.
Last Thursday, the early birds of Sydney gathered for a 6AM run to mark the beginning of something special – the launch of a partnership between PILLAR Performance and Nedd Brockmann.
On the back of this new collaboration, PILLAR have also pledged to raise $100,000 over the next 12 months to support We Are Mobilise’s mission to change the lives of 10,000 people facing homelessness by 2030.
The morning kicked off with a 5.5km loop of Centennial Park, fuelled by energy, connection, and plenty of laughs. Runners were met at the finish line with coffee, croissants, and of course, PILLAR supplements to recover right.
But beyond the kilometres and coffee, the event was about sparking a bigger conversation.
Together with PILLAR and Nedd, we’re stepping into a new chapter – one where world-class sports performance collides with social impact.
As Damien Fitzpatrick, Rugby star turned CEO of PILLAR Performance, put it:
“Nedd embodies discipline, grit, and that secret sauce of inspiring people, often beyond what he’d ever admit himself. His commitment to doing the hard thing, day in and day out, while shining a light on something bigger than him, makes him a voice for athletes, everyday athletes and people doing it tough everywhere.”
At Mobilise, community has always been at our core. Seeing a wave of people running at sunrise, united by the belief that everyone can play a role in solving homelessness, was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
As our CEO and Founder Noah Yang shared on the morning:
“The biggest barrier to solving homelessness is the understanding that homelessness is truly solvable. Together, we can change 10,000 lives by 2030 – and partnerships like this bring us one step closer.”
Nedd and the PILLAR team are set to inspire athletes and everyday Aussies alike to put one foot in front of the other – not just for performance, but for purpose.
We’re fired up for this next chapter, and the stories of lives changed that we’ll be able to tell together.
Here’s to a strong community making change happen.
