We exist until
homelessness doesn't
That’s the goal. And the evidence says we’re on track.
122,000
PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA ARE
CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING
HOMELESSNESS
That’s 1 in every 200 of us.
And here’s what most people don’t know:
94% of them are hidden. They’re on a friend’s couch. In a car, a refuge or completely untenable housing.
Hidden from view, hidden from the conversation, and largely hidden from the systems that are supposed to help them.
Homelessness in Australia is not just a street problem.
It’s a system problem. And it’s one we believe can be solved.
Here's what we've
come to realise
Homelessness is rarely a permanent state.
For most people, it’s a crisis point – a moment where the gap between where they are and where they need to be is measured not in years, but in dollars.
The answer – backed by global research and now being proven here in Australia through our programs with the University of Melbourne and Paul Ramsay Foundation – is direct cash transfers. Getting money to people at the exact moment they need it is one of the most effective, dignified and evidence-backed interventions available.
That’s the insight at the heart of everything Mobilise does. And it’s why we’ve spent years building the infrastructure to deliver that support at scale, across the country, through our network of charity partners.
Infrastructure that
gets people home.
We are the funding and technology infrastructure the homelessness sector runs on.
We’ve built a suite of technology products, alongside a national network of 50+ charity partners – organisations across every state and territory who work directly with people experiencing homelessness every day. When someone is ready to move into housing but doesn’t have the money for a bond, or is about to lose their home, their case manager refers them to Mobilise.
Our platform assesses the referral and moves the money – directly to the housing provider, same day. Every dollar tracked. Every outcome reportable.
Sounds simple? That’s the point.

The platform is built. The evidence is in. Now it scales.
The question is no longer whether direct cash transfers work. We’ve answered that.
The question is how fast we can scale – and that depends on who backs us next.
