This October, Grill’d is partnering with Nedd Brockmann, We Are Mobilise and Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge to help people in need facing homelessness in Australia. Grill’d is donating $80,000 via their Local Matters program, which will help We Are Mobilise ease the burden of those doing it tough in our communities.
From the 3-13 of October Nedd will take on a world record challenge, by attempting to run the fastest 1,000 miles ever, covering 160 km every day for 10 days, at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. And then from October 20-29, Nedd’s asking everyone, including workplaces, schools, gyms, and groups of mates — to join Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge by committing to their own challenge — one that takes you out of your comfort zone whilst raising funds for people experiencing homelessness. The rules are simple: you must choose a challenge that is uncomfortable, and you must stick with it for 10 days straight.
“I’m so pumped to have Grill’d on board as a supporting partner,” says Brockmann. “Firstly, with their nutritious healthy burgers giving me the ammo I need for all those kilometres. And most importantly, backing Mobilise this October and donating towards initiatives to help those experiencing homelessness. Each and every burger purchased will help give back!”
Simon Crowe, founder, Grill’d says, “Nedd is an absolute legend when it comes to his challenges and inspiring others to do more. He generates a huge impact when it comes to raising awareness and funds to help homelessness in Australia. At Grill’d we are incredibly passionate about supporting our local communities and have made it our mission to give back to those in need, so it was an instant YES from us to support.”
